The Canon Crystal

We build the upstream layer for storyworlds — structured, cited, and sealed against canonical decay.

The Canon Crystal

The Canon Crystal is a structured, queryable, version-controlled knowledge graph of a storyworld. It is not a wiki. It is not a writer's assistant. It is the upstream Source of Truth on which every downstream production, license, adaptation, and AI tool will depend — without drift.

We deconstruct an authored world into its constituent truths — characters, systems, relationships, events, locations, objects, and skills — through the Contechs Storytelling Ontology: a formal blueprint that imposes a strict, logical order on a narrative before any knowledge graph is built.

Extraction is performed by a disciplined cognitive colony — a pipeline of specialized AI agents organized on the eusocial principles of an ant colony. Taxonomists identify. Profilers enrich. Connectors weave relationships once entities are uniquely defined. Inspectors and Guardians audit the result against the source material. Every fact in the finished Crystal carries its citation back to the line, the page, the frame from which it was derived.

The result is a definitive, verifiably human-authored representation of the world — an heirloom asset that compounds in value with every cycle of use, and that can serve as canonical context for any downstream creative tool or authorized adaptation. A licensed studio can query the Crystal to validate canon. A transmedia developer can confirm that their choices honor the source. A fan co-creator can submit new material for review against a defined, structured standard.

The foundational upstream layer on which the next century
of human-centered storytelling can be built.
